The problem with most professional drivers is that staying fit and healthy on the road is a daunting prospect. It seems impossible! “Road Warriors” live a very unique lifestyle, one that office-bound workers simply do not understand. Sure it’s fairly simple to lead a healthy lifestyle at home when your favorite gym is down the street and your refrigerator is stocked with healthy foods, but life on the road is a completely different story. What do you do when there is no gym to be found, but there is a McDonald’s, a bar, or a vending machine within minutes of anywhere you might find yourself?
As a professional driver, it's a known fact that if you are healthy, you will be able to work more and make more money. Period. But what are other ways of measuring "wealth?" Living longer? Spending less time in the hospital? Spending more time with your friends and family? Feeling strong, energetic and... happy? The "Basic Training" teaches some basic principles that drivers can immediately apply to their lives that have the potential to dramatically change their lifestyle... and increase their personal wealth, however they choose to define it.
Not ours! "Basic Training" is entertaining, fun, and interactive. We get the audience involved using games and illulstrations that make the material "stick."
In "Basic Training" we lay the foundation for a lifestyle of wellness. To keep it simple, we focus on three areas of importance to professional drivers:
-Exercise: Daily activity strengthens both the body AND the brain and will make drivers healthier and better at what they do.
-Nutrition: Healthy eating habits will make a world of difference in the way drivers look, feel, work, and live.
-Lifestyle: Positive lifestyle choices will set drivers apart from the crowd and will help them develop habits that will make them more successful and productive.
